It is beginning to look, feel, and smell like fall. We will kick off the season with our two fall festival trips to the pumpkin patch and Camp Bethel next Wednesday and Thursday. Thanks again to all the parents who have signed up to drive.

Throughout the month of October, we will focus on the many sights, smells, and tastes of this colorful season. We will end our month with a special holiday party in honor of Halloween. I will be contacting the parents who have signed up to help later in the month.

I also want to welcome Yuri to our class. Yuri has become an official “rising sun” this past Tuesday.  Welcome Yuri!

 Below you will find a list of upcoming events for the month of October:

Wednesday October 10, 2007- Layman Farms- “Pumpkin Patch”

l        we will leave school at 9:00 am and return to school around 12:30pm

l        if you are a parent driver, please send in a copy of your automobile insurance card to the office.

l       if you are not a parent driver, please leave your child's car seat outside our classroom with your child's name on it that morning

l        the cost for extra adults will be $6.00 per person. You may pay at the pumpkin patch when we arrive

l        please pack a fruit break and lunch in a paper or plastic bag. all items should be disposable.

l        we will eat our fruit break and lunch at the pumpkin patch

Thursday October 11, 2007- Camp Bethel

l        we will leave school at 9:00am and return around 1:00pm

l        if you a parent driver, please send in a copy of your automobile insurance card to the office

l        if you are not driving, please label your child's car seat with their name and leave it outside our classroom that morning

l        there is no cost for parents

l        please pack a disposable fruit break and lunch in a paper or plastic bag

l        we will eat our fruit break and lunch at camp bethel
