Winter Holidays

  • we will learn different ways people around the world celebrate winter holidays

Patterns all around

  • we will explore the many ways we experience patterns in our daily lives

Community Service Project:

  • the Rising Suns, Bear Paws, and Log Cabins are asking families to bring in hats and mittens for our “giving tree”

  • as we collect our donations throughout the month of December, we will hang our hats and mittens on our classroom tree

  • on the last day before winter break Friday December 21, we will send our donations to the Rescue Mission

Special Events:

Pajama/Holiday party

  • the Rising Suns, Bear Paws, and Log Cabins will have a pajama party the morning of Friday December 21

  • please have your child dress in their warmest pajamas for the day

  • we plan to make pancakes for fruit break

    and end our day with a special lunch for our parents

  • parents are invited to a holiday lunch at 12:00pm prepared by the Rising Suns

  • formal invitations will be handed out later on this month

  • you will not need to pack a fruit break or lunch for that day

  • dismissal will be at 1:00pm

Mihir- one bag of gum drop candies
