Despite having three teachers, I believe we have started off our year on a good foot! Everyone seems to be finding their way and beginning to feel more at ease. We may have some rough spots along the way and that is okay. Staying positive and reassuring toward your child will only build self confidence and a feeling of peace. It is one of our jobs as their care givers to support our children in new adventures, so they may grow into confident and happy people. Starting today you may go to our school's website and click on links to Teacher Pages for my name and then click on my name to view our blog to keep you up to date with our daily news. Now that I am back, I will continue to use our blog on a daily basis. If you have any problems retrieving our daily blog, please let me know. My hope is to be more earth friendly by using technology over paper. In regards to our monthly FYI, I will still send home a paper copy. I hope you enjoy our daily blog!

I want to thank Meg, Sarah, Patti, Ruth Ann, Tulie, and Katlyn for being so flexible and loving to our class this past week. Thank you for all of your love and support through this difficult time. I'm glad to be back and I look forward to our many adventures together.

Special events:

Early learner gatherings- Tuesday September 18, 2007 at 7:00pm (parents only)
This is an evening for us to provide our parents with information about our daily schedule and upcoming field trips. There will also be time for general questions about our classroom.
Our meeting will take place in the art room in main building on first floor

Class name skits performances- Friday September 21, 2007 at 10:00am
Location:  the blacktop next to our room
Time: our class will begin the name skit performance at 10:00am
Parents are welcome to join us.

Picture day- Tuesday September 25, 2007
Teena Cook will take individual shots of each student
Please dress your child in solid colors for best results

Show and share:
We will begin show and share next Friday
Your child may bring in one item to share with the class
Please, no weapons of any sorts (water guns, lasers, knives/swords)
