Stripes: Feast in the Forest and short v. long a/silent e
Washingtons: Feast in the Forest and short v. long a/silent e
Lincolns: Nate the Great Goes Undercover (for fluency) and short
vowels
Eagles: Henry & Mudge, the First Book and affricate r-blends
Theme
Autumn-Foods of Egypt.
Gretchen-Know-wonder-learn about Nile and the Mississippi
Centers
Journal writing, Egyptian hieroglyphics and stencils, lion craft.
Stories
We continued with Minn of the Mississippi. We also enjoyed Elena
reading to us The Lost Tooth and Drew reading The Bailey School
Kids.
Special and Noteworthy
In computer class, the students keyed in their captions to their
