Lucia Koski received her Associate’s Degree
in Early Childhood Education from Mohawk Valley Community
College in Utica, New York. Before starting at Community
School, she was a stay-at-home mother. In 2002, she began
working at Community School as our Teaching Assistant and After
School Coordinator. The following year, she began teaching in
our Early Learner program. She has also coached two
Community School Destination Imagination teams.
Outside of her daily routine of being a teacher and a
mother, Lucia enjoys painting and studying astrology and
numerology. As a teacher and as a mother, she strives to help
even the smallest child find their voice. She believes that
every child should be seen, heard, and believed.
