Alumni – March 15, 2016

  1. Paige Johnson (Seminar class of 1999) visited campus last week. She has just returned from England where she completed a master’s degree at Oxford University in biodiversity, conservation and management. She is starting to look for jobs and hopes to settle in the Washington, D.C., area.
  2. Alex Lesniak is excited to report that her science fair project for the Roanoke Valley Governor’s School won First Place and Special Award for Most Promising Future Study in the Behavioral and Social Sciences category. Earlier this year, she interviewed CS students in upper elementary and middle school as part of her research related to gender issues. She will be competing in the Regional Science Fair to be held at Roanoke College.
