1) Congratulations to Daniel C. who graduates from Radford University this weekend with a B.S. in geography and a concentration in environmental studies. Daniel earned GIS certification and currently works mapping wetlands for Conservation Management, a company housed at Virginia Tech. Daniel attended CS for eight years (Seminar class of 1999).
2) Congratulations to Alex B. and Brian S. who were recently inducted into the National Honor Society at Salem High School (two of only twelve boys in the school to be selected). Alex has also been chosen to work with the Youth Conservation Corps this summer. He will be based at Claytor Lake State Park working on trail maintenance and outdoor chores and doing environmental education in the evenings and on weekends. Both Brian and Alex attended CS for nine years (Seminar Class of 2008).
