Do you know if the game your child is playing is an online game?  Do you know that many online games have built-in chat rooms? See Children, Computers, the Internet & Safety for more information on keeping your kids safe online.

Dear Parents:
The best resource you can give your child is your time!  When your children surf the Internet, it should never be alone.  The best place for you child to have a computer is in a shared family location. Even if you cannot sit down with them you can easily keep an eye on their activities.

I have viewed all of the sites linked to this website.  They were appropriate at the time I viewed them.  However, the Internet is a vast, interconnected "web" and I cannot vouch for links that may lead from the sites I have visited.  Also, the landscape is always changing, so links may expire and page content may change.  Please be aware of where your children are browsing.  Young children will love to have you keep them company in their travels and who knows, if the habit is acquired, older children may continue to enjoy it too!  Please let me know of any expired links or inappropriate content.  I'd also love to know of any sites you like that are not linked here.

You may also want to check out the links on the Student Resources and Teacher Resources pages as well.  Happy surfing,

 ;-) Lelia
