Kroger Bucks

We participate in the Kroger Gift Card fundraising program. If you choose to participate in this program, you can purchase a Kroger gift card at Community School that works in the same way as a debit card. Here are the details:

Kroger gift cards are available in the Community School office for a cost of $5.00 per card. You can also purchase a card directly from Kroger and have it linked to Community School at the service desk. If you already have a Kroger Gift Card, it can be linked to Community School at the Kroger Service Desk.

Participants can fill the Kroger Gift Card by check, debit or credit card at the Kroger Service Desk, or at their check out. You control the amount you put on the card and when. They also work at Kroger gas pumps!

Kroger keeps track of the amounts purchased on the cards linked to our school. Each month the Community School receives a check for 5% of the total amount spent by our families.

This program requires families take the extra step of placing funds on the card on a regular basis, or at least prior to check-out. As long as the card is purchased through the school or linked to the school, Community School will benefit.

There are no additional costs to the school or to our families to participate in this program. The initial cost to purchase this card is a credit on the card. So your new card will have a balance of $5.00. You can go to your local Kroger and add more cash at either the checkout or the service desk.
