Alumni – January 12, 2016

1. Alex Lesniak, who attended CS from 2003-2009, will be back on campus this month. As part of her research for a gender bias study that she is conducting for her classes at the Governor’s School of Math & Science, she will be observing classes here at CS. Alex is currently a senior at Lord Botetourt and has been accepted Early Decision to Hollins University for next fall. She is considering majors in psychology and biology.
2. Abby Temeles (Seminar class of 2000) appeared in a humorous article in The Washington Post on December 16 as spokeswoman for the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. The article discusses which presidential candidates the company decided to “bear-ify” in their holiday catalogue and how the candidates have been depicted. Abby is the Brand Manager for the company.
