Our 2025-2026 Theme Celebrated
This year’s theme, Tectonic Shifts: Converge, Diverge, Transform, provided a powerful framework for understanding the rhythms of a school year: the ways we come together, the paths students forge on their own, and how the people, places, and experiences we share ultimately transform us.
We had much to celebrate as a community this year. Our new building became a shared space for our entire campus, housing our Middle School, drama, art, and Spanish classrooms. Students gathered monthly for morning meetings, where classes took turns leading the whole school. We cheered together at sporting events and collaborated creatively for Arts Festival. In the classroom, enrichment classes blended Spanish, art, music, and math, and students teamed up on projects exploring issues that affect our community.
Similar to the monarch butterflies that Lower Elementary released in the fall, our students also embarked on their own journeys. Middle schoolers followed their passions in choosing Friday Groups and after-school clubs. Elementary students visited the library to discover their favorite genres and read independently. Preschoolers, away from home for the first time, found courage and their own voice in a new school. And students of all ages stepped into the spotlight to share their unique talents at the talent show.
Through all of these experiences and more, by stretching themselves and working together, each student has grown this year. The student who was dropped off on the first day of school is not the same one who came home this summer. By being a part of their classroom and this community, they’ve become more curious, braver, and more independent. They’ve transformed.
Thank you for being part of this wonderful school year. We look forward to seeing students on campus for summer camps and for the start of the 2026–2027 school year this fall.
